"Where We Wend" - by Jack Salvador

“Where We Wend” is a vista of the mind, “painted” memories of canyons, rivers, sandy dunes, views from above, views from within. Striking warm, vital, organic shapes and colors, energize the viewer, projecting them into their own memories and remembrances of extraordinary environments and events. The image invites the viewer to enter the space, to explore the paths, touch the shapes, feel the warmth of the color and the softness of the textures.

Jack Salvador has been creating photographic images for over 40 years, including documentary, editorial, architectural and fine art. For the past several years, Jack has been exploring the technical limits of digital equipment. Jack’s current work most often explores his fascination with abstraction and spacial ambiguity. He is also currently exploring integrating his photography within sculpture. Jack has studied art at RISD, CA College of the Arts, and San Francisco City College. He has displayed in several solo and group exhibitions in the San Francisco Bay Area, including shows with recognized painters and sculptors. Jack currently lives in SoCal.

The winner of this auction will be able to order one high quality print framed or unframed at a size to be determined at the T Heritage Art Gallery in Santa Monica.  Costs for printing, framing and shipping to be the responsibility of the auction winner.
