In 2012, when she was just 15 years old, she was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman while on her way home from school. However, Malala survived the attack and has continued to speak out about the importance of education and advocate for girls' rights around the world. Her bravery and activism have inspired many people around the world. In 2014, she became the youngest person ever to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, at the age of 17.

In addition to her advocacy work, Malala has also founded the Malala Fund, a non-profit organization that works to provide education opportunities for girls around the world. The organization focuses on regions where girls are most likely to miss out on school, such as Nigeria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
