Daniel Ellsberg had a role in releasing the Pentagon Papers, that helped bring awareness about the Vietnam War. 

Ellsberg has remained a vocal advocate for government transparency and accountability, and has expressed support for whistleblowers like Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden. In recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace and social justice, Ellsberg was awarded the Right Livelihood Award in 2006 and the Olof Palme Prize in 2018.

Robert Shetterly is an American artist known for his series of portraits titled "Americans Who Tell the Truth," which features portraits of individuals who have spoken out against injustice and worked towards positive social change.
